I'm taking a different approach now, since the last one of these I put up was met with a thundering clap of silence (T_T).

I've recently rediscovered the joys of inking, something that I'd always used to avoid because I could never find a good pen to do so with. I'd always end up smudging the shit out of the picture or just plain screwing up the lines, so I had pretty much sworn off inking because I didn't want to ruin another drawing.

But since I finally found some fairly good inking pens, I decided to try it again, as well as dabble in colouring the pic.

I've left this creature un-named because I honestly can't come up with one. I was thinking of calling it a Water Horse, but what with the recent movie and all I figured it would confuse some people. That said, if anyone comes up with an idea for a name, feel free to suggest it.

This was a combination of a Przewalski's Horse and a Chinese duck. I have a lovely book full of reference pictures of animals/birds/and stuff, so I picked two creatures and decided to combine them.

((I'm planning on re-doing the Wreath Snail creature to fit in with this new style, so expect to see that re-uploaded sometime soon))

EDIT: After Anmras' comment, I decided to just name this bugger a Water Goat (Come to think of it, having it closer to the size of a goat probably makes sense....)
